With the service GitLab the IMT provides individual users, institutes and departments of the university with a version management to work on software projects.

For example, you can view older versions of a file, see the difference between two versions of a file and merge the versions manually. It is also possible to work together on one repository. Gitlab also offers several management features such as a bug tracker and a project wiki.
