Advice on network-supported forms of communication and presentation and the technical implementation of hybrid event formats (e.g. appointment lectures, commission meetings, committee work or conferences) are part of the standard services offered by the IMT: Media.

Hybrid events take place simultaneously virtually and in presence. A video conferencing tool such as Big Blue Button, Zoom, DFNconf is used for this purpose. If possible, a microphone option should be available for all participants. Possible scenarios:

• Virtual lecture (online or in presence)
• Conference with livestream (stream to the university's video portal)
• Complex forms such as appointment procedures (various settings for lecture and discussion)
